Another Big Curry success!

On the 27th April yet another Big Curry night happened. This one being at the Iron Duke Pub in Stratfield Saye and it raised £1,759 for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. The event, which also included an auction, was organised by Bernadette Hewitt, with great support being provided by Matthew and James from the Iron Duke. The Duke of Wellington was invited however unfortunately was unable to attend but sent his best wishes to those attending, along with a donation to the event.

Bernadette upped her game from a successful Big Curry at home in 2010 and for 2011 raised more than six times her last fundraising total with a the help of the Iron Duke. A great success as there were 42 people at the event and the pub’s capacity is 50.

It is people like Bernadette and her support crew who are making The Soldiers’ Charity Big Curry a successful campaign in 2011!
